🎵 I listen to a lot of Hersh music...

and my scruffy scrawl writing somehow seems to suit Hersh music perfectly. I never expected my T-Shirt ideas would be for anyone but me... But here they are, actual Hersh shirts... out of my mind, and into the world...

🖤 When Hersh Called it 'Rad'

These lyrics were requested by someone a while ago. These are not the lyrics I would have picked for this song, I was all set to have "and when you die it's a shame, but your old life stays the same", and most likely I'll make that shirt one day, because I really want it.🎶🎧🖤 Took me a while to get the scrawl as I liked it. But I think it worked out quite well - Kristin Hersh called it 'Rad' and I'll take that kind of compliment any day of the week😂🖤 ElRat scruffy handwritten all around, with Throwing Muses on the rear. Every Hersh purchase directly funds Kristin Hersh studio time, helping to keep her in the studio where she belongs.

This messy print has This has the "rip it up, live it down, make it big, keep it clean, shake it off" splatted all over the front, and the ElRat scruffy font "Throwing Muses" double printed on the back.

🎨 Your shirt will not be "perfect", but it will be yours

I'm calling this an art shirt, and I can tell you I am a messy artist, and this is a messy print. I don't wait for any of it to dry, I just put my headphones on and go for it, printing where I feel at the time, holding up, turning, getting the full wrap around print. Completely unplanned and in the moment. Finished with a front centre print. As such, you can expect finger marks, smears, ghost prints from screen contact and other possible "imperfections". This is all part of what gives an ElRat Designs shirt, the human, hand printed feel.... because it is human and hand printed. This isn't fake mass produced "art", this is your shirt, made especially for you, by me. The one in the picture is mine, and it's representative of the shirt I aim to make for you. If you are looking for perfection, ElRat Designs is not for you.
