I never make things expecting them to be for anyone but me, and it's always interesting to me what people choose to buy. Some of my personal favourite shirts have hardly sold at all, and others have spread around the world. It still feels completely crazy to me that there are people in the world wearing my things, that I get to design and make merch for Kristin Hersh. That my idea for handwritten lyrics has been so welcomed with open arms, by both KH herself, and the community.
