🎨 Sustainability leads to amazing things

I really hate seeing ink go to waste. Every time I print, I save as much as I can, but there's always leftover ink in the screen that ends up being washed away - all those beautiful colours just wasted. So I was inspired by my own messy artist shirts, the ones that I wear when I'm printing that get covered in ink, and my clean up cloths... and I thought... what if. So, I took some fresh shirts and started using them to clear the leftover ink from my screens. These aren't planned, they happen based on what I'm printing at the time and how I feel, so I wipe, turn, scrunch and wipe, checking how the patten is forming on the shirt, adjusting to get more different coverage on some areas. Put it to one side, then repeat for the next colour that comes up (If it needs it). What I found, was that I got beautiful, messy, imperfect human art, all on a t-shirt that is absolutely one of a kind, never to be repeated... I couldn't even if I wanted to.
