ElRat Original Hersh Shirts - Where Music Becomes Art

Created by ElRat Designs to show my love and appreciation for The One Hersh. I listen to a lot of Hersh music, and it lives in my bones - sometimes, out of nowhere, I get these clear ideas for drawings that I need to capture immediately.

🎨 The Creative Process

It's not deliberate - I don't sit down thinking 'I need a shirt design for this song.' I might not have heard a particular track in months, but suddenly there's this urgent idea that needs to be drawn. I have to get it down quickly, because I have Aphantasia, so these visual ideas disappear from my head really quickly, sometimes before I manage to grab a pen - so they are scrappy, and urgent, they come and then they're lost if I don't capture them.

The music doesn't live in my memory the way it might for others, but when those first notes play through my headphones, I know it like my heartbeat. That connection somehow sparks these sudden bursts of artistic clarity that become the designs you see here.
