📸 Halftone Portrait with Classic KH Logo
I love this photo of The One Hersh, and I love the original KH logo - putting them together was an absolute no brainer. I love a halftone print. Just dots creating an image, feels little bit extra cool on a screen print. Kind of half way between Photography and screen printing, and when you combine it with the clean lines of the KH logo, it really does look a bit special.
🎨 Hand-Drawn, Hand-Pulled Screen Print
This is a 2-colour print using black for the halftone portrait and blue for the KH logo. Like the Dandelion Hope print, I'm not really set up for multi-colour printing, but that just means every one will be lined up slightly differently, making them all unique. Hand-pulled with archival water-based ink on 300gsm card in either, white, Ivory or deep Blue, all prints are supplied unframed.

These prints are probably cheaper than they should be for genuine hand-pulled screen prints, but I want to find that balance - getting my art into the world while keeping it accessible. I am an artist who doesn't "love" visual art. I would never go to an art gallery, never look at an art book. I know nothing of other artists, or their work. Aphantasia means I have no visual memory, and it's hard to love something you can't remember. I *LOVE* drawing, it calms my head like nothing else, and I do like the pictures I make, but I can look back, even just a couple of days in my sketchbook, and have absolutely no memory of the picture there. I only really make art for the love of making it. They are intense, and scrappy because they have to be, I can't come back to a picture because as soon as I turn away, I forget it exists. So when I start, I have to finish before I lose concentration. Because for me, drawing is the point, not the pictures. If other people like it, I consider that an honour.
