🎵 I listen to a lot of Hersh music...
and some lyrics just get into your head and won't leave, and for me, drawing them or scrawling them is how I try to shift them. I never expected my T-Shirt ideas would be for anyone but me... But here they are, actual Hersh shirts... out of my mind, and into the world...
🎨 When Lyrics wont leave you alone
I have been trying to make a shirt for this song for a long time, all revolving around this section of the lyrics. I really can't get it out of my head, I am not really complaining. I am absolutely obsessed with spirals, which you may have noticed if you've looked at any of my artwork, or even looked through my T-Shirt designs. This "Snailhead" spiral was so necessary for me. Because of Aphantasia, I couldn't see this in my head, just kept saying the line over and over again silently to myself. So to try to save my own sanity it had to be fully realised in the real world. I knew it had to be a reducing spiral, and it had to be striking in some way... had to really stand out, just like it does in my head.

🎨 Hand-Pulled Screen Print
This is a 2 colour print, and I'm not really setup for that, but all it means is, that every one will be lined up slightly differently, making them all a little bit unique. There is a spiral in Red, then the lettering is fluorescent red. (Yes, it looks pink to me too, but Fluorescent red is what the ink is called so that's what I call it) it looks pink under normal light, but it glows up under UV/blue light. (I hope it doesn't distract The One Hersh if she sees it glowing from the stage😬😆)

‼️ Fluorescent Ink - Light Reactive Effect (Hidden surprise)
This product features fluorescent ink that reacts to UV and blue light. In normal daylight and standard indoor lighting, you won't see any glow - but under UV/blacklight conditions (clubs, gigs, certain LED setups), it comes alive with dramatic fluorescence.
